MedEther is proud to announce the official establishment of a BAAPS-MedEther aesthetic plastic surgery training centre in Shenzhen University. The centre has been established by MedEther in their role as the China Exclusive Representative of the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS) at the Royal College of Surgeons.

MedEther selected Shenzhen University for the establishment of the centre as it is regarded as one of the fastest growing Universities in China and is the top ranked University in Shenzhen. As one of China’s most exuberant top metropolitan cities, Shenzhen’s GDP surpassed Hong Kong for the first time in 2018.

The centre will be used by BAAPS surgeons, when visiting China, to provide medical training to Chinese surgeons. A specialised practical surgical skill training programme for aesthetic plastic surgeons is being developed by MedEther in conjunction with BAAPS.

Professor Mosahebi also delivered a presentation during the ceremony, where he spoke about the history of Medical training in the United Kingdom, the history and role BAAPS plays in medical aesthetics surgical training and development and he discussed the benefits that will be brought to China through the establishment of the centre.

MedEther is focused on continuing to build relationships with key organisations around China to establish specialised medical training centres, which will provide high quality training to Chinese surgeons. This will enable us to achieve our goal of further developing the expertise of Chinese surgeons and the quality of care received by patients.
